Superior K-9: What Do We Offer Superior K-9 has a variety of programs to offer  you and your dog, whether you are looking for basic dog obedience, advanced dog obedience, in home dog training, boarding dog training, or some form of specialty obedience training.  Whether you are on a tight budget or no budget, we have a program designed especially for you.  If none of our programs fit you and your dog's needs exactly, we will tailor a dog obedience training program for you.  Does your dog need a lot of help? Superiork-9: Getting Started Before beginning any in home dog training or boarding program with Superior K-9, your dog will be evaluated.  The evaluation of your dog will better enable us to determine his/her personality type, aptitude, social development, behavioral patterns and problems.  From this, we will be able to recommend the best home dog obedience training or dog boarding training program for you and your dog.  Regardless of which program you choose, your dog's training curriculum will be designed to fit his/her personality type. Superior K-9: In Home Dog Training Programs   In home dog training programs are for those clients who feel that they are able to do home dog training with the guidance of the Superior K-9 staff.  In these programs, we will meet once a week for your in home dog training lessons.  Superior K-9 will show you the commands that you will be working on during the course of the week and we will make sure that you understand and are executing the commands properly.  You will then have “homework” that you must do in order to train your dog in our in home dog training programs.  We suggest that you work with your dog at least three times a day in order to properly teach your dog the commands.  Your “homework” sessions should be no less than five minutes and no more than fifteen minutes each.  Of course, the more home dog training sessions that you have each day with your dog, the quicker you and your dog will reach the training goals of our in home dog obedience training programs.    Seven Lesson In Home Dog Training Program: Superior K-9's Seven Lesson Program is an in home dog obedience training program in which your dog will learn heel, automatic sit/stay, down/stay, sit from the side, down and sit from the front, stay, and the come command.  In this home dog training program, we will have one session per week.  The seven home dog training lessons must be completed within ten weeks from the start date.  For additional information about our programs, pricing, location, and facilities Call Now!! 724-217-2343. In Home Dog Training Starter Package : Superior K-9's In Home Dog Training Starter Package is a four lesson in home dog obedience training program.  Your dog will learn how to heel, do the automatic sit, down from the side, sit from the side, the come command, and possibly, the stay command with this in home dog training program.  We will meet once a week during your home dog training and the program must be completed within six weeks.   Private Lessons: Superior K-9 offers Private lessons which are available to those who have a dog that has had obedience work in the past, either by Superior K-9 or another trainer, but are having a specific problem that they would like to have resolved with in home dog obedience training sessions.  We can meet for a half hour or for an hour in our home dog training session to help you fix your dogs’ obedience problem.    Additional Commands:          You can also choose to have your dog learn a few additional commands in our home dog training sessions such as: “Go Back/Place”, “Stand”, and “Finish”.  For additional information about our programs, pricing, location, and facilities Call Now!! 724-217-2343.
