Superior K-9: Getting Started Before beginning any in home or boarding dog training program with Superior K-9, your dog will be evaluated.  The evaluation of your dog will better enable us to determine his/her personality type, aptitude, social development, behavioral patterns and problems.  From this, we will be better able to recommend the best in home or dog training boarding program for you and your dog.  Regardless of which program you choose, your dog's training curriculum will be designed to fit his/her personality type. Superior K-9: Residency Programs   Residency programs are for those owners who simply lack the time or patience to complete a training program on their own or wish to put their dog’s training in the hands of professionals.  These dog training boarding programs prove especially effective for training overly hyperactive dogs or dogs with aggressive tendencies: of course, they are also proven to be effective with all breeds, all ages, all temperaments.  When you choose a dog training boarding program you know that the training program will be accomplished quickly without disrupting your schedule.  The length of training time is based upon your dog’s personality and learning ability.  Once your dog has been evaluated, we can estimate how long it will take to complete your dog training boarding program.   Lifetime Platinum: Western PA dog training has not seen a dog training boarding program quite like this one.  In this program, your dog learns all on-leash and off-leash commands, hand signals, and additional commands (i.e.   Stand/Place).  Also, all equipment is supplied (5 foot leather leash, 50 foot leash, tab leash and training collar).  This is a three-week dog training boarding program.  Your dog will be worked with at least three to four times per day.  We will meet once a week while your dog is in training in order to show you your dogs progress, acclimate you with the training process, handling of your dog and, also, to teach you how to use the commands properly.   Because of these in kennel training sessions, you are better equipped to train your dog right from the start when you and your dog go home.  Upon completion of the three weeks, we can meet as much as once a week, for the life of your dog, to ensure that you and your dog are progressing with the training or to correct any behavioral issues that may arise.  For additional information about our Western PA dog training programs, pricing, location, and facilities Call Now!! 724-217-2343. Lifetime Gold: Superior K-9's Lifetime Gold Program, like the Lifetime Platinum Program, is a three week dog boarding and training program.  This program includes on-leash and off-leash obedience, hand signals, the additional commands, plus, all the equipment is still included.  Like the Lifetime Platinum, we will meet once a week at Superior K-9 to acclimate you with the training process and the handling of your dog so that when you get your dog home you are better equipped to train your dog right from the start.  In this program, we can meet up to once a week for the first six months.  After the first six months, we can meet once a month for the rest of your dogs’ life, if you would like.  However, if in any month (after the initial six months) we should have more than one session, you will be charged at the current hourly rate.  For additional information about our Western PA dog training programs, pricing, location, and facilities Call Now!! 724-217-2343. Six-Month Silver: Superior K-9's Six Month Program, like the Lifetime Platinum and Gold Programs, is a three week dog boarding and training program.  This program includes on-leash and off-leash obedience, hand signals, the additional commands, plus, all the equipment is still included.  Like the Platinum and Gold, we will meet once a week at Superior K-9 to acclimate you with the training process and the handling of your dog so that when you get your dog home you are better equipped to train your dog right from the start.  This dog training boarding  program includes six months of follow-up lessons.  If after the initial six months, you feel that you need further assistance, we will meet at the going hourly rate.  For additional information about our Western PA dog training programs, pricing, location, and facilities Call Now!! 724-217-2343. Two Week Program: This is an off-leash program for those dogs that meet the on- leash obedience requirements as determined by the Superior K-9 staff.  Your dog will be taught all of the off-leash commands as well as hand signals.  We will meet once while your dog is in training in order to show you your dogs’ progress and, also to teach you how to handle your dog and use the commands properly.  We will then have seven follow-up lessons to teach you everything that your dog learned while attending this Superior K-9 dog training boarding program and to ensure that your dog is responding to you in the proper fashion.  If your dog has been through our one-week dog training boarding program, this Two Week Pogram will be upgraded to a Six Month Silver Program.  Ask for details.  For additional information about our Western PA dog training programs, pricing, location, and facilities Call Now!! 724-217-2343.
